Sean Coxs brother ‘shocked and disappointed’ by Manchester City ‘Allez, Allez, Allez’ song about Liverpool fans
The brother of Sean Cox has told talkSPORT he was shocked and very disappointed by a video that shows Manchester City players singing a distasteful song about Liverpool fans.The video, posted on social media on Tuesday, appears to show City players and staff joining in a version of the Allez, Allez, Allez song as they celebrate winning the Premier League title on their flight home from Brighton.The song refers to Liverpool fans crying in the stands and being battered on the streets.

City have denied the players were mocking Hillsborough and Reds fan Sean Cox,who was attacked by Roma supporters outside Anfield last year.The club have insisted the song a regular chant during the 2018-19 season instead refers to last seasons Champions League final in Kiev, where a number of Liverpool fans were assaulted by masked hooligans ahead of their game against Real Madrid.

Any song like that, these players are media trained in this day and age and are role models for children.I dont understand why the first thing they want to do, right after they win the league title, is sing about Liverpool, first of all, and then actually sing about fans getting battered in the streets.Surely they know that the song is inappropriate.Cox also questioned why the City stars were singing about Liverpool in the first place, instead of their own amazing success, and said they could concentrate on their own team.2

Sean, 54, left care back in April and Martin says his brother is making slow but steady progress.Sean is doing good, Martin said.Hes progressing, which is the most important thing. Hes still on a massive long road ahead, but he is progressing. Slowly but surely, hes getting there .Its baby steps at the moment but were on the right road.
